Green Energy Options Water Ensemble in-home display for the utilization of water is to be distributed in Central Europe and Scandinavia by Kamstrup as part of the recent partnership between the two companies.

The display will give consumers an understanding of their water consumption, which will enable them to make informed decisions and adjustments to their behaviour to potentially reduce waste and lower their bills.

Meter readings and web and mobile applications will also be readily accessible.

The Water Ensemble shows the current meter reading and where there are several meters, it keeps track of the hot and cold water consumption. It also has some useful alerts, such as leaking or burst pipes which would be indicated by abnormal flow.

“We are really pleased to be working with a first class company like Kamstrup in distributing this unique new colour display, which we believe is the first of its kind,” said Patrick Caiger-Smith, chief executive at GEO. “We can now engage people further by making water consumption visible to the eye in the same way we do with electricity, gas and microgeneration.”

Kamstrup is taking pre-orders for the monitor, which will be available this autumn.
